Vendors wanted for the Steep Falls Farmers’ Market for this Summer Season.  

ATTENTION:  all farmers, gardeners, growers, bakers and artisans that produce their own homegrown or homemade product in the Sacopee Valley area:

Want to be a part of the local movement in the area and find a means to get your farm product to a group of instant customers? – then think about joining this new and exciting market.


The Steep Falls Farmers’ Market Association

It is a group of folks coming together in the village park on the corner of Rtes. 11 and 113 to offer local farm products.

Find below all the information you need to become a member.  They are pdf files that you can either read on-line or download.  Whereas the application is a Word file that you can fill in and mail or email.
1. Make sure you read the Steep Falls Farmers’ Market Rules. In addition to those are the Maine Farmers Market Laws.
2. Don’t understand what permits and licenses you need? – then read the Permits.
3. Will you need insurance? Yes. – read Insurance Notes to learn what, how, and why.
4. What will it mean to be a Steep Falls Farmers’ Market Association Member?  Read the By-Laws.
5. Then fill out the Application and mail or email it to the Steering Committee.
6. Click for Crafters definition.
7. Click for Food Sampling Policy.
DEADLINE:  NOW for first market day, May 6.
                    Rolling Deadline for 2017.
                    Sooner the better however, so that we can advertise YOU!
Application Approval will be by the Steering Committee.
